abstract | The present invention provides compounds of formula I, which are prodrugs of catecholamines for use in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and disorders. The invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds of the invention, and methods of treating neurodegenerative or neuropsychiatric diseases and disorders, particularly Parkinson's disease, using the compounds of the invention.
