The present invention relates to a composition for the prevention or treatment of cell aging-related diseases containing salinomycin, which acts differently according to the type of senescent cells, as the active ingredient, wherein the salinomycin is composed of fibroblasts and vascular endothelial cells in which aging is induced. While it has been shown that it exhibits the senomorphic effect of restoring function and morphology, it is confirmed that it exhibits the seroritic effect of selectively killing retinal pigment epithelial cells induced by aging, and the salinomycin acts differently depending on the type of cell. Thus, it can effectively prevent or treat obesity and diabetes caused by cell aging, degenerative neurological diseases, osteoarthritis, atherosclerosis, chronic skin damage, senile eye disease and tissue fibrosis disease, and can be provided as a composition for extending life. |
