The present invention relates to a Candida tropicalis strain having improved resistance to substrate cytotoxicity, including a mutant gene, and a method for producing dicarboxylic acid using the same. The Candida tropicalis strain for dicarboxylic acid production developed through the present invention not only has improved resistance to the existing toxic substrate, but also the production efficiency of dicarboxylic acid has increased significantly compared to the existing strain, so it is applicable to the biological production process of dicarboxylic acid. It is expected to have high industrial utilization. |
