abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a resin composition capable of forming an insulating film having a stable viscosity, uniformity and high thixotropic property with high film thickness of the coating film, and excellent insulation reliability. The resin composition for forming an insulating film contains a curable resin (A), bentonite (E), a first solvent (F1), and a second solvent (F2). The solubility of the solvent (F1) in 1 L of water at 20°C is 1 g or more, and the solubility of the second solvent (F2) in 1 L of water at 20°C is less than 1 g. The total amount of the first solvent (F1) and the second solvent (F2) relative to the total amount of the resin composition is 15% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less. The amount of the second solvent (F2) relative to the total amount of the first solvent (F1) and the second solvent (F2) is 15% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less. |
