The present invention relates to a surface treatment method for a surface-treated separation membrane for a lithium secondary battery and a separation membrane for a lithium secondary battery. The surface of the polyolefin separation membrane is treated with a material having a polar functional group to impart hydrophilicity to the hydrophobic polyolefin separation membrane, thereby charging and discharging the battery. Discharge characteristics, life and rate characteristics can be improved. |
