abstract |
The present invention can provide a composition for preventing hair loss comprising a variant of the shortened fibroblast growth factor-5 and an active ingredient thereof. Specifically, FGF5s variants with improved stability and activity can be provided by altering some amino acid sequences of the FGF5s protein produced by selective splicing in normal FGF5. By applying the FGF5s variant according to the present invention or a composition comprising the same to skin or hair, it is possible to prevent hair loss by prolonging the growth phase and inhibiting metastasis to the degenerative phase during the hair growth cycle. |
