The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material for a potassium secondary battery using a combustion synthesis method, and the present invention features a novel layered structure potassium transition metal oxide synthesized through a combustion synthesis method. Also, a method for synthesizing potassium manganese nickel oxide K0.55 [NixMn1-x] O2 (x = 0, 0.1) and a potassium secondary battery using the same as a positive electrode active material are provided. |
