The present invention relates to a biomarker composition for diagnosing radiation exposure containing VTA1 and a diagnostic method using the same, and in the present invention, it has been confirmed that the expression level of VTA1 bivalent having high sensitivity to radiation is significantly decreased depending on radiation dose and exposure time. Bar, the VTA1 can be used to quickly and accurately diagnose radiation exposure by measuring the expression level from a sample such as blood, and can be used to predict the dose of biological radiation.
