The present invention relates to the use of complement component 8 gamma or fragment thereof for treating neuroinflammatory diseases. The composition of the present invention is effective in reducing Alzheimer's abnormal behavior and reducing the secretion of neuroinflammatory cytokines in brain microglia, which can be very useful for the prevention or treatment of neuroinflammatory diseases. |
