abstract |
The present invention relates to the use of the novel bis-quaternary syncona alkaloid salts and the bis-quaternary syncona alkaloid salts in asymmetric phase transfer catalysis. The present invention relates to the use of the novel bis-quaternary syncona alkaloid salts and the bis-quaternary syncona alkaloid salts in asymmetric phase transfer catalysis. On certain substrates and under certain reaction conditions, the inventors have found that the use of bis-4th class synacona alkaloid salts in asymmetrical phase transfer catalysis surprisingly provides a more active and efficient method compared to mono-class catalysts. |
