abstract The nitrogen oxide in the combustion exhaust gas is reduced by supplying ammonia for primary reduction into the combustor 2 as a reducing agent of nitrogen oxide and mixing ammonia for secondary reduction with the combustion exhaust gas discharged from the combustor 2. The supply amount of the primary reduction ammonia and the combustion exhaust, depending on the concentration of residual nitrogen oxide and residual ammonia contained in the combustion exhaust gas after being discharged from the ammonia supply unit 6 and the combustor 2 Combustion apparatus provided with the control apparatus (9) which controls at least any one of the mixing amount of the said ammonia for secondary reduction to a gas.
