abstract |
The present invention is a copolymer of polyethyleneimine grafted chitosan having RGD dendrimer peptide for integrin αvβ₃ targeting (RPgWSC) and nanoparticles comprising the same, and a copolymer of polyethyleneimine grafted chitosan having RGD dendrimer peptide for integrin αvβ₃ targeting. The present invention relates to a composition for anticancer, wherein the RPgWSC copolymer according to the present invention can deliver genes to cells through microtubule-dependent macropinocytosis and chitosan-mediated endocytosis. In addition, injection of the RPgWSC copolymer into a mouse model bearing PC3 tumor xenografts significantly inhibited tumor growth due to inhibition of BCL2 protein expression. Based on these results, RPgWSC copolymers are expected to be good candidates for specific target gene carriers that are not cytotoxic. |
