An object of the present invention is to provide a novel vinyl chloride-based resin composition excellent in transparency, and a molded article, particularly a pipe joint, formed from the resin composition. The resin composition of this invention is rubber-based shock absorber (B) 3 whose glass transition temperature (Tg) in DSC is 0 degrees C or less with respect to 100 mass parts of vinyl chloride resins (A) whose chlorine content is 55-75 mass%. 0.1-10 mass parts of lubricating agents (C) which satisfy -15 mass parts and following requirements (i)-(iv). (i) Melt viscosity in 200 degreeC is 5-5,000 mP * s (ii) Softening point is in the range of 60 ~ 180 ℃ (iii) The glass transition temperature (Tg) measured by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) is in the range of 0 to 100 ° C. (iv) 50-100 mass% of structural units derived from at least 1 sort (s) chosen from the group which consists of styrene, (alpha) -methylstyrene, indene, vinyltoluene, and isopropenyl toluene in a molecule | numerator. |
