abstract |
The present invention relates to avian leukosis virus (ALV) resistant birds prepared using the CRISPR / Cas9 system and a method for preparing the same. More specifically, resistance to ALV subgroup J (ALV-J) prepared by specifically editing one or more sites selected from Trp38, Thr37 and Gln40 in the chNHE1 gene of chickens by gene editing through the CRISPR / Cas9 system. The present invention relates to an ALV-J resistant alga with and a method of manufacturing the same. Chicken Avian Leukosis Virus (ALV) resistant birds according to the present invention have a high value as a livestock product because there is no risk of viral infection. In addition, the gene editing method of the present invention can be utilized for the discovery of a specific genotype capable of inhibiting the binding between the virus and the receptor, and the virus-receptor binding research utilizing the cell line, and furthermore, the production of algae resistant to chicken leukemia virus. It is expected to be able to establish a system. |
