abstract |
More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for regenerating an absorbent by absorbing an acidic gas using an absorbent for removing an acidic gas and using the transition metal oxide as a catalyst. The method for regenerating an acid gas removing absorbent using the transition metal oxide catalyst of the present invention is characterized in that the Bronsted acid position and the Lewis acid position present on the surface of the metal oxide absorb acidic gas, Carbon dioxide is removed by promoting the decomposition of carbamate combined with absorbent and carbon dioxide. This makes it possible to regenerate the absorbent with regenerating heat lower than the conventional regenerant heat of the absorbent, thereby regenerating the absorbent with high efficiency and low cost, and capturing the carbon dioxide. |
