Multiple protease method |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for identifying an epitope on a protein that can be bound by an antibody. The method of the present invention typically involves a step of limited or constrained proteolysis of the protein using a single first protease or a combination of the first protease and an additional step of proteolysis using a single combination of a second protease or a second protease . The invention also relates to an identified epitope and an antibody that binds to an epitope identified by the method of the invention. |
