abstract The present invention relates to a quantum dot having a core-shell structure excellent in quantum efficiency and optical stability. The quantum dot according to the present invention has a core-shell structure and is composed of a five-component system of Zn-Cu-In-P-S. The quantum dots include a core portion of a copper-doped In (Zn) P material and a first shell layer of a Cu-Zn-In-S component system surrounding the core portion, and a second shell layer of ZnS material surrounding the first shell layer .
