Quantitative analysis of nucleic acids present in samples or complex media requires nucleic acid extraction or purification. However, the yield of nucleic acid extraction and purification is highly variable due to the purification principle, the kit used and the characteristics of the sample. Therefore, efficient normalization of nucleic acid extraction and purification yields is a prerequisite for accurate nucleic acid quantitation based on raw samples. The present invention relates to a method for quantitatively analyzing a nucleic acid present in a sample or a complex medium without amplification of the target nucleic acid. |
