abstract |
The present invention provides a quick-drying, stable aqueous composition useful for the manufacture of traffic signs with excellent low temperature flexibility, comprising (i) one or more vinyl or acrylic emulsion polymers selected from single stage and multi-stage emulsion polymers Wherein the polymer or at least one of the steps has both a calculated glass transition temperature (calculated Tg) of from -25 to 0 占 폚 and a calculated hunchback parameter of from 1.4 to 2.25; and (iii) one or more fillers, / ≪ / RTI > pigment, and the composition has a solid volume of 50 to 80% percent pigment volume concentration (% PVC), preferably 50 to 75%. The composition may comprise at least one silane, and at least one polyamine and a volatile base such as ammonia. |
