abstract The present invention relates to a novel piperidine-2,6-dione derivative and its use, and more particularly to a piperidine-2,6-dione derivative compound having an analogous structure of a thalidomide. The compound of formula (I) according to the present invention specifically binds to the CRBN protein and is involved in its function. Accordingly, the compounds of the present invention can be usefully used for the prevention or treatment of leprosy, chronic graft versus host disease, inflammatory diseases or cancer caused by the action of CRBN protein.
