The cartridge 70 may include a housing 6, a liquid supply reservoir 14 within the housing 6 and configured to store a pre-vapor preparation, a vaporizer, and a porous plug 80. The vaporizer is in fluid communication with the liquid supply reservoir 14. The vaporizer may be configured to generate steam by heating a portion of the pretreatment agent. The porous plug 80 can be connected to the housing 6 and can be separated from the liquid supply reservoir 14. The porous plug 80 may be permeable to steam. The porous plug 80 may surround the flavor additive in contact with the storage material 83. When the vapor flows through the porous plug 80, the flavoring additive may be configured to at least partially elute from the storage material 83 or to at least partially volatilize from the storage material 83.
