titleOfInvention TRANSPONDER AND SENSOR FOR IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
abstract Transplantable transponders that do not include ferromagnetic components for use in medical implants are disclosed herein. These transponders can help prevent transponders from interfering with medical imaging technology. Such a transponder can optionally be of small size and can help collect and transmit information and data about the implanted medical device. Methods for using such transponders, readers for detecting such transponders, and methods of using such readers are also described.
