abstract |
In the present invention, the efficacy of niobium cytotoxic effect of cedrol and widdrol, which are the compounds derived from the fragrance of the juniper and the fescue, is confirmed by using the human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells. L-glutamic acid and 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA) were used to induce toxicity of SH-SY5Y cells. From the results of this study, it was found that chrysanthemum extract and chrysanthemum - derived compounds, Sidorol and Weedol, have efficacy as a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of Parkinson 's disease. |
