abstract It is another object of the present invention to provide a novel polycyclic aromatic compound and an organic electroluminescent device using the same. By providing a novel polycyclic aromatic compound having a diarylamino group and connecting a plurality of aromatic rings with a boron atom and an oxygen atom, the selection of materials for the organic EL device is increased. Further, by using a novel polycyclic aromatic compound as a material for an organic electroluminescence device, an excellent organic EL device is provided.
