A method and system for removing certain components from the air is presented. There is provided a microfluidic chip comprising a fluid flow path in fluid communication with at least one surface comprising at least one photosynthetic organism. Additionally, the air comes into contact with at least one surface comprising said at least one photosynthetic organism. In addition, the component is removed from the air using the at least one photosynthetic organism. |
