abstract |
A web-wound roll having a web edge treatment with a printable adhesive composition and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The web-wound roll includes a substrate web having at least two web edges. One or more portions of the adhesive are disposed for subsequent curing adjacent one or both of the web wedges. The substrate web is wound on itself with a plurality of revolutions relative to the center core and each rotating portion remains substantially separated from the next rotating portion by the adhesive. |
