The present invention relates to a process for producing a high purity magnesium hydroxide, and more particularly to a process for producing hydrated magnesium carbonate (HMC) from a raw material solution containing calcium, magnesium and sodium, Magnesium (Mg (OH) 2 ). According to the present invention, magnesium hydrate magnesium carbonate can be prepared from a raw material solution containing magnesium and sodium, and magnesium hydroxide having a purity of 99.5% or more can be produced, thereby providing a high added value of resources . |
