The present invention relates to a topical, cosmetic or dermatological composition comprising a compound of formula (I): (I) The radicals R1 and R2 in the formula independently of one another include 1,3 diglycerides which represent C13 to C40 saturated and linear alkyl radicals and at least one cosmetic or dermatological excipient for topical skin application. The present invention also relates to such a composition, or a 1,3 diglyceride having formula (I), for use in preventing or reducing exogenous molecular penetration into the skin following skin protection, skin barrier attenuation treatment and skin barrier attenuation. |
