The binder composition for a nonaqueous secondary battery electrode of the present invention is a binder composition for a nonaqueous secondary battery electrode comprising a particulate polymer having a core shell structure. 1. A particulate polymer, wherein the core part comprises a first polymer containing an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer unit and an aromatic vinyl monomer unit, and the shell part comprises at least 40 mass% of a (meth) acrylic acid ester monomer unit Lt; RTI ID = 0.0 > a < / RTI > second polymer. Furthermore, the degree of swelling of the particulate polymer with respect to the electrolytic solution is 2.5 times or less. |
