The present invention relates to an olefin selective adsorbent in which cupric salt is reduced to cuprous salt and dispersed in an unsaturated metal coordination site in a framework, a surface, or a pore of a porous metal organic framework, and to a method for separating olefin from an olefin/paraffin mixture using the same. The olefin adsorbent of the present invention has high olefin/paraffin selectivity, and high propylene working capacity and repetitive absorption/desorption capability at an operating condition (1-10 atm) of a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process, or an operating condition (0.1-1 atm) of a vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) process, can separate various olefin/paraffin mixtures such as ethylene/ethane and butylene/butane, and exhibits an effect of producing high purity olefin and paraffin products. The method of the present invention exhibits a high separation effect without high costs, and thus can improve economic feasibility of olefin/paraffin separation. |
