abstract |
A carbon material is prepared using a carbon precursor or protein that includes a beta sheet structure or that can form a beta sheet structure by crystallization. The beta sheet structure can be converted to an sp 2 hybrid resonance structure as heat is applied. Accordingly, the carbonization process is simple and, unlike the conventional method, it is possible to provide a method of manufacturing an environmentally friendly carbon material without using a catalyst or an organic solvent. In addition, various shapes and microstructures of the carbon material can be controlled through beta-sheet content control. |
