abstract |
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a semiconductor light emitting device 10 capable of emitting a first light having a first peak wavelength and a semiconductor light emitting device 10 capable of emitting a first light and a second light having a second peak wavelength, (12). The semiconductor wavelength conversion element 12 is attached to the support portion 51 and disposed in the path of the light emitted by the semiconductor light emitting device. The semiconductor wavelength conversion element comprises at least two first regions (46) of semiconductor wavelength conversion material and at least one second region (48) without semiconductor wavelength conversion material disposed between said at least two first regions . |
