abstract |
The present invention relates to a porous current collector made of a polymer fiber coated with a conductive metal on a surface thereof and a lithium electrode including a lithium metal filled in the pores of the current collector. The lithium electrode according to the present invention includes a porous current collector, thereby increasing the contact surface area between the lithium metal and the current collector. As a result, the non-uniformity of the current density during the operation of the battery is solved, and the growth of the lithium dendrite is prevented, so that the stability of the lithium secondary battery can be improved. In addition, since the porous current collector is made of a polymeric fibrous nonwoven fabric coated with a conductive metal, the weight of the porous current collector is light, so that the energy density of the electrode can be increased and flexibility can be improved. |
