titleOfInvention Bioreactor with multiple coupled vessels
abstract A bioreactor system comprises (a) two or more vessels configured to collectively perform a biological reaction and fluidly connected thereto, (b) one or more fluid passages connecting the two or more vessels to one another, Wherein the at least one fluid path is configured to provide a flow of culture medium between the at least two containers; (c) at least one fluid delivery device along at least a portion of the one or more fluid paths; and d) a control system. The control system (i) reads or receives one or more parameter values that determine the characteristics of the culture medium in one or more of the containers (ii) determining an adjusted flow rate in at least one of the fluid paths to maintain the one or more parameter values substantially uniform in the culture medium from the containers between the two or more containers And to use the parameter values to do so.
