abstract A system and method for determining the reactivity of zero valence iron is provided. The system for determining the reactivity of zero-valent iron includes a reaction unit for reacting zero-valent iron with a reactant to obtain a product, and a determination unit for determining the reactivity of the zero-valent iron by measuring the concentration of the product through a color reaction. The method for determining the reactivity of the zero valent iron includes a step of reacting the zero valent iron with the reactant, measuring the concentration of the product through the color reaction, and determining the reactivity of the zero valent iron. According to embodiments of the present invention, the reactivity of zero valence iron can be determined with low cost and time.
