Provided is an ion trapping agent for a lithium ion secondary battery which adsorbs impurities generated from a constituent material of a lithium ion secondary battery in a high selective manner and has high adsorption performance per unit mass. Further, provision of a long-life lithium ion secondary battery by suppressing occurrence of a short circuit caused by an impurity by using the ion trapping agent. A magnesium aluminum complex oxide, and a dry hydrotalcite compound. |
