abstract |
The present invention relates to an antibody capable of detecting the phosphorylation of MEL-18 protein and the use of said antibody. By using an antibody specifically recognizing a novel phosphoric acid-epitope of the MEL-18 protein, it is possible to specifically detect the expression of the phosphorylation at the Thr334 position of the MEL-18 protein, so that the AKT enzyme-dependent MEL-18 phosphorylation Signal transduction and cell proliferation, stem cell regulation, and cell death. In addition, it can be useful for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of various diseases including cancer mediated by MEL-18 protein. |
