The present invention relates to a method for producing graphene from coal as raw material, and more particularly to a method for producing microporous graphene from Zhundong coal in China. This process consists of the following steps: First, refining coal blocks or coal particles to obtain fine powder coal; Second, soaking the activator solution in powdered coal and drying the water to obtain a molten mixture; Third, carbonizing the molten mixture at inert atmosphere and at elevated temperature to obtain a carbonized product; Fourth, successive acid washing, washing with water and drying to obtain coal-based porous graphene having a surface area of 3345 m 2 / g. The present invention primarily addresses the problems of current methods for the preparation of microporous graphene with high specific surface area, including costly raw materials, complex processes and low yields. The porous graphene obtained by the present invention is expected to realize excellent application value in the field of gas adsorption separation, electrochemical energy storage and catalyst. |
