abstract The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing a Korean beef cattle using a keratin-associated protein gene marker, and more particularly, to a method for diagnosing a high-quality Korean beef cattle, And to provide a genetic testing method that can be used to improve the accuracy of early selection and individual evaluation. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for detecting a SNP marker (SNP marker) according to the SNP genotype of a Korean cattle using PCR-RFLP technique using a specific SNP present in the gene of L-C515676 (keratin-associated protein 10-6) . Among these, individuals with AA genotypes are diagnosed as individuals with genetic superiority values superior to individuals with AG and CC genotypes.
