A metal-ion battery and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. Metal-ion batteries include an anode, a separator, a cathode, and an electrolyte. The positive electrode is separated from the negative electrode by a separator, and the electrolyte is disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. In particular, the electrolyte may be a silver halide, a copper halide, a cobalt halide, a ferric halide, a zinc halide, an indium halide, a cadmium halide, halide, nickel halide, tin halide, chromium halide, lanthanum halide, yttrium halide, titanium halide, manganese halide, halide, molybdenum halide, or combinations thereof. |
