abstract |
The present invention relates to a functional egg having a component effective for preventing Alzheimer's disease (dementia), and a feed additive for poultry for the production thereof. The feed additive according to the present invention comprises choline chloride and taurine. When the feed additive according to the present invention is continuously fed to the laying hens for preferably 15 days or longer, choline chloride and taurine are concentrated in the eggs produced by the laying hens and the choline and taurine levels in the eggs are increased. Users who consume these eggs will be able to consume choline and taurine through the eggs, so they can enjoy the effective effect of preventing cerebrovascular diseases such as Alzheimer's (dementia). |
