abstract | The present invention relates to a process of making a functional rice cake comprising a Poria cocos extract as an effective component, in which an effective component of Poria cocos is extracted using a hot water extraction method or methanol extraction method, wherein the functional rice cake includes extracted effective component to be used as snack or meal replacement, and can have a calming effect to the mental state or alleviate forgetfulness and insomnia. According to the present invention, the process of making a functional rice cake comprising a Poria cocos extract as an effective component comprises: a soaking and drying step in which rice is immersed and soaked in water for 6-10 hours, and the water is removed; a pulverization step in which the rice soaked and dried through the soaking and drying step is pulverized into rice powder; a Poria cocos extract preparation step in which a Poria cocos extract is prepared from Poria cocos by a hot water extraction method or a solvent extraction method using methanol; a rice cake powder preparation step in which the prepared Poria cocos extract prepared through the Poria cocos extract preparation step, supplementary materials, and sweeteners are mixed and stirred with the pulverized rice powder to prepare rice cake powder; a steaming step in which the prepared rice cake powder is steamed; and a processing step in which the steamed rice cake powder is processed to produce a rice cake. |
