An embodiment of the present invention provides a composition type adhesive, the adhesive comprising water glass, an epoxy resin, a certain silane-based coupling agent, and a certain inorganic filler. The adhesive according to the present invention not only can minimize discharge of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), but also is environmentally friendly when the adhesive according to the present invention is used as an adhesive for building finishing materials and others since the adhesive according to the present invention includes a relatively large amount of the water glass compared to the epoxy resin. Further, the adhesive according to the present invention has excellent adhesive strength as well as phase stability since the adhesive according to the present invention includes a specific silane-based coupling agent which can improve compatibility between the water glass and the epoxy resin, and a specific inorganic filler which can prevent the formation of cavities due to volume decrease in the process of solidifying the adhesive. Therefore, the adhesive according to the present invention is very useful when constructing a building finishing material made of material such as wood or a synthetic resin that is different from that of the building on one side of a building made of glass, metal or concrete. |
