An apparatus for monitoring an EMG signal of a patient's hind paw includes an intracranial tube having an external surface. A conductive ink electrode is formed on the outer surface of the inner tube. The conductive ink electrode is configured to receive an EMG signal from the hindpaw when the tracheal tube is placed in the patient's airway. At least one of the conductors is coupled to the conductive ink electrode and configured to transfer the EMG signal received by the conductive ink electrode to the processing apparatus. |
