titleOfInvention Article of footwear having a sole structure with a fluid-filled chamber
abstract The footwear article has an upper and a sole structure fixed to the upper. The sole structure includes a chamber surrounding the pressurized fluid. The chamber includes a sub-chamber extending transversely from the inner side to the outer side of the bladder. The lower surface of the chamber may include at least one abutment extending transversely across the lower surface of the chamber from one side edge of the chamber to the other side edge, from the inner side to the outer side. The abutment can cooperate with the indentation of the lower surface, which separates one sub-chamber from the adjacent sub-chamber. The diameters of the sub-chambers may decrease in the direction from the heel section of the bladder to the forefoot section of the chamber.
