abstract The embodiments described herein relate to a filler that is placed in the extraction site as a need to grow and preserve bone. The filler promotes sufficient growth of new bone to prevent general jaw bone deterioration following tooth extraction. The filler forms, arranges and processes the ideal growth environment to preserve new bone growth and the original contour of each jawbone for rapid growth. Additional embodiments described herein relate to a tooth implant that is arranged to provide a scaffold for re-growth of the interdental papilla of damaged or missing teeth. Dental implants may include micropatterns to enable directional cell growth.
