abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing a thermoplastic thermotropic liquid crystal polymer using a rapid reaction rate of an epoxy and an amine occurring within a few minutes, and a liquid crystal polymer produced by the method, wherein a liquid crystal unit having an epoxy reactor at each end (mesogen unit, mesogen unit) and a primary amine reaction unit capable of chemically reacting with an epoxy reactor can be reacted within a few minutes in a uniaxial or biaxial kneading extruder without any organic solvent or catalyst, Liquid crystal polymers prepared by an in-situ reactive process exhibit excellent thermal properties and liquid crystallinity.
