abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for a heat-sensitive recording material, which comprises a colorless or pale dye precursor, a compound represented by the following general formula I containing a non-phenolic sulfonylurea group as a colorless agent, , II-2, II-3, and includes binders and other fillers. Such a coating composition exhibits an excellent effect in improving the background blurring phenomenon, color development sensitivity, water resistance, oil resistance, and firing by using a nonphenolic color developing agent.
