abstract | The present invention relates to a polarizing film in which an iodine dye is adsorbed on a PVA film, and has a signal strength (Int 310 ) at 310 cm -1 at a central portion in the thickness direction of the film obtained by Raman spectroscopic measurement of the cross section thereof, (Int 310 / Int 210 ) of the signal intensity (Int 210 ) at -1 is set to L and the ratio (Int 310 / Int 210 ) is set to M, and the ratio (Int 310 / Int 210 ) in the portion where the film is 10% in thickness from the other surface in the thickness direction is denoted by N (M ≦ N ) And 2 x L / (M + N) is 1.2 or more. Such a polarizing film exhibits an effect of suppressing deterioration of the polarization performance under high temperature and high humidity and excellent in heat and humidity resistance. |
