It is an object of the present invention to provide an organometallic complex capable of emitting red light. It is another object of the present invention to provide an organometallic complex having a high luminous efficiency. It is another object of the present invention to provide an organometallic complex capable of emitting red light with high visual sensitivity. There is provided an organometallic complex having a structure represented by the following general formula (G1). (Wherein A represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 25 carbon atoms, and Z represents hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or an aryl group having 6 to 25 carbon atoms means one. Furthermore, the Ar 1 refers to any of number of carbon atoms means a group of 6 to 25 aryl group.
